Turil is the God of Freedom and Conflict in Lysian mythology. According to legend, Turil was one of the Thirteen creators of the world, before he himself returned to the earth in the War of the Gods. Lysians that worshipped Turil founded the city of Evaz after the Holy War, and were frequently at odds with the Sultan in Irsham. In 407 AF, the Treaty of Junra declared the worship of Turil to be illegal in Lysia, prompting a series of riots and the formation of many cults to the God, most notably the Turilian Brotherhood.
